Members of our coalition will be speaking at this press conference at noon on Thursday downtown. In solidarity with home care workers fighting for a living wage and pushing our elected leaders to pass the BBB bill. Come support if you’re free.

Prop 206 is about more than a $15 minimum wage. With the passing of this proposition, Tucson is adopting the following:

- Wages increasing annually based on the inflation rate once the minimum wage reaches $15 in 2025

- The establishment of Tucson's own Department of Labor Standards in order to fight wage theft

- Fairer compensation for workers of large employers

- Allowing workers to receive their pay without needing access to a bank account

Westbound
From Tuesday night upon getting the election results. Thanks to Paul Stapleton-Smith for catching the moment on film, and thanks to Dominique Aneeka for providing the confetti cannon to mark the moment. And thanks to the staff at Westbound for patiently waiting while we cleaned up the ridiculous mess this made after everyone had left.
